ACT and SAT prep courses offered. The Friends of the Bartram Trail Public Library will conduct another set of ACT and SAT Prep Courses beginning Monday, April 11 and each Monday until May 9. The SAT class is from 5 p.m. until 6:15 p.m. and the ACT class will be from 6:30 p.m. until 7:45 p.m. The classes will be held in the William Bartram Room at the public library and taught by certified teachers with many years of experience in ACT and SAT test preparation. Each course consists of four instructional classes and one practice test. The fee for each course is $40, which includes all four classes and the practice test. Toastmasters Club seeks members. The World Golf Village Toastmasters Club meets the first and third Tuesdays of each month from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at First Florida Credit Union, located at 1950 County Rd. 210 W. (enter in back of building). Toastmasters International, a worldwide organization, has been helping adults improve their communication and leadership skills in a learn-by-doing, positive and supportive learning environment for over 90 years. Volunteers needed to support memory enhancement program. Volunteers are needed to assist with the Council on Aging’s Integrative Memory Enhancement program for those diagnosed with memory disorders or concerned about memory changes on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays at the Fruit Cove Baptist Church, located at 501 State Rd. 13 in St. Johns, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Duties include assisting the staff with activities and general attentiveness toward the needs of the clients.
