Creekside High School had an outstanding book fair in December at Barnes and Noble Booksellers on San Jose Blvd. Creekside’s American Sign Language Honor Society and Hispanic Honor Society partnered up for National Literacy Day to interpret children’s books as well as holiday carols. The art honor society provided face painting and crafts for the children, Doctor Who fans delighted in a trivia game sponsored by the Doctor Who club. Book ambassadors from the book club helped shoppers find the perfect gift and Tri-M provided holiday music throughout the event. A surprise visit from a Signing Santa for deaf and hearing children concluded the event.
