All St. Johns County driver license and motor vehicle services will be unavailable online beginning at 5 p.m. Friday, May 6 through Sunday May 8, due to relocation of computer equipment at the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles headquarters in Tallahassee.

The St. Johns County Tax Collector’s office will be closing at 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 6, in preparation for the system-wide shutdown.

If you require any driver license or motor vehicle services, including driver license testing, renewals, reinstatements, title transfers vehicle registration, updating insurance information or address changes, visit any location of the St. Johns County Tax Collector’s office  by 4 p.m. Friday, May 6 or visit www.sjctax.us before 5 p.m. Friday, May 6.

The St. Johns County Tax Collector’s office recommends allowing enough time to complete your transaction as online services will cease promptly at 5 p.m.

St. Johns County Tax Collector Dennis Hollingsworth anticipates all services will be restored by 8 a.m. Monday, May 9.
