If you find vintage, model cars interesting, then you certainly don’t want to miss out on Cruise Nights held at the PDQ restaurant in Fruit Cove. This event is exciting for all car enthusiasts as well as the entire family. Viewing these stunning cars is time well spent for all.

The event is held the third Saturday of every month from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and PDQ has sponsored the event. All makes, models, years and car clubs are welcome to join in.

In past years, the Cruise In was held in the parking lot where the Walmart is now located. The event was wildly popular with local families who enjoyed strolling the aisles admiring the classic cars.
Local charities will find this a great time for fundraising. The popular 50-50 drawings known to be held at these car shows will be designated to a charity each month. Charities or civic organizations can submit a request to be the charity of the month. Any $200 sponsorship is enough to cover the expenses for the Cruise Night to be enjoyed by all. The sponsorship includes promotions, a live disc jockey for music and door prizes to be given away during the 50-50 drawings. All monthly sponsors will be promoted throughout the event, on the website and via any advertising.

Sponsors are also welcome to bring out any vehicles, display booths, and information about their company in an effort to help promote business. Organizers are working diligently to confirm sponsorships for the entire year, so that focus can be generated solely towards promoting and organizing the event. Donations and sponsorships are a 501(c)(3) tax write off deduction.

Join in on the fun family entertainment at 194 State Road in St. Johns on July 15. Visit the Sunshine State Chevelles, Inc. events page on Facebook for updates and details: www.facebook.com/groups/31959709639/
