From the registration area hikers will be ferried to the hike start point. End point is back at the Heritage Welcome Center.Hikers travel at their own pace.  There is minimal change in elevation.  The trail is well marked (blazed) and easy to follow.  Hikers are advised to wear comfortable close toed shoes, dress in layers, wear a hat, and apply sun screen and bug spray. It's also advisable to bring a bottle of water per hiker on the trip and a snack. Hikers can either pack a lunch or purchase lunch in town. More info can be found at   http://www.floridatrail.org/ididahike2017/
