    Jacksonville In-Water Boat Show is coming soon to Metropolitan Park and Marina

    Family-friendly event is April 5 to April 7

     The Jacksonville In-Water Boat Show is coming soon to Metropolitan Park and Marina. The show, produced by JBM & Associates, will take place April 5 through April 7 and features activities for the whole family. Advance tickets are now available for the family-friendly event which includes a kid zone with bounce houses, face painting and more presented by Jax 4 Kids. There will also be fishing seminars for both adults and kids, plus boats of all sizes, marine products and services.

    “We are excited to welcome back Captain Don Digman, who will be leading the Hook the Future kids’ fishing seminars and giving out some great prizes,” said Jacqui Bomar, president of JBM & Associates. “We also have some of the best fishing experts from across northeast Florida who will be leading our adult fishing seminars, plus more than 50 different boat brands for our guests to climb aboard and tour.”

    The boat brands on site will include powerboats, jet boats, skiffs, cruisers, ski boats and yachts. Yamaha, the presenting sponsor of the event, will be giving away free Yamaha Hats to the first 100 people through the gates each day.

    The Freedom Boat Club’s Freedom Boat Hut will be back to provide free boat rides on the floating tiki bar and Captain Jack Sparrow and his merry band of pirates will be there. Some of the most popular food trucks will be on site and there will be live music from Big Jeff the Entertainer, Dean Winters and Larry Yancey.

    The Jacksonville In-Water Boat Show opens Friday, April 5 at noon until 6 p.m., Saturday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, April 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets range from $5 to $10 and can are available at jacksonvilleinwaterboatshow.com.
