Volunteers with the Friends of the Jacksonville Public Library are almost ready for another gigantic Book Sale, to be held Feb. 19-21 at the Book Warehouse in the University Park Library at 3435 University Blvd. N.
The popular bag-of-books special deal will be featured. Customers who purchase two bags of books for $15 each get a third bag free. There will also be some unannounced special deals at the sale.
“Come shop with us,” Friends of the Jacksonville Public Library President Sylvia Wren said. “It’s a win-win for you and the library.”
Wren says shoppers can find great books at bargain prices while supporting the library with the purchase. Members of the Friends of the Jacksonville Public Library get even better bargains as well as first choice of books, CDs and DVDs. Membership is $10 per person and members receive discounts and specials throughout the whole year.
As always, the sale starts with Friends of the Jacksonville Public Library Member Night on Feb. 19, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Members can buy a bag of books for $12 and get a second bag free.
