Mandarin Oaks Elementary has announced that its 2016-2017 Teacher of the Year is third grade teacher Cindy Linder. Linder has taught for 25 years, the past 13 at Mandarin Oaks. Linder was recognized for her positive attitude, willingness to help others, and the dedication that she has toward all of her students.
Her lessons are differentiated to reach not only those students who are performing on grade level, but also to those that might still be working a few levels below. A native Floridian, Linder grew up in Orange Park and attended the University of North Florida for both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.
