According to the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, residents of the Ponte Vedra Beach area and those traveling to Ponte Vedra Beach on Sunday, Feb. 14 should expect traffic congestion and delays due to the National Marathon to Finish Breast Cancer, which will be beginning at 7:30 a.m.

The most delays are expected to be between 7:15 a.m. and 9 a.m.; A1A will be closed between County Road 210 and Corona Rd. during this time. Traffic will be diverted to Roscoe Blvd., enabling most motorists to bypass the event.

Commuters can also expect congestion and traffic delays following the event as shuttles will be traveling southbound on A1A returning participants to the TPC parking lot.
