Show your support for sea turtles with a bumper sticker or door hanger, free at all St. Johns County beach access ramps this weekend only.

The Beach Services Division of the St. Johns County Parks and Recreation Department is partnering with St. Johns County Tax Collector Dennis W. Hollingsworth, CFC, to raise awareness of the recent start of sea turtle nesting season.

Complimentary bumper stickers and “Do Not Disturb” turtle door hangers will be distributed at all beach toll booths throughout St. Johns County the weekend of May 14-15, while supplies last. This is part of the tri-county effort between St. Johns, Putnam and Flagler county tax collectors to raise funds for the Whitney Lab Sea Turtle Hospital, the only one of its kind in Northeast Florida. Donations are being accepted at all five locations of the St. Johns County Tax Collector.

For more information, contact the St. Johns County Tax Collector’s office, taxcollector@sjctax.us, or call (904) 209-2250.
