Get to Know … Ricke Ricciardelli

Born and raised in Melbourne, Fla., Ricke Ricciardelli moved to St. Johns County in 2002. Ricciardelli and her husband, a retired law enforcement officer, enjoy living in the Cascades neighborhood of World Golf Village. Ricciardelli relishes spending time with her family and gives much of her time to Wards Creek Elementary as a volunteer.

Internationally known for his ground-breaking eye surgical techniques with a worldwide clientele and recognized by Forbes (Goldline Research) as one of the Top Ten Laser Eye Surgeons in the United States, Dr. Arun Gulani has recently moved with his family to an oceanfront home on Ponte Vedra Boulevard. Dr. Gulani and his wife, family physician Dr. Suparna Gulani, have two children, daughter Aaisha, 20, a valedictorian from The Bolles School and presently studying at Wharton School of Business, and son Yash, 14, a junior at The Bolles School.

Get to Know … William “Bill” Walker

Born and raised in Atlanta, Ga., Bill Walker has enjoyed living in the Mandarin community since 1981. He and his wife, Dodie, have been married for 52 years and have two sons and six grandchildren. A biology and chemistry major at Davidson College and Mercer University, Walker spent his career with Dow Chemical Company and Owens and Minor Medical Distributions until his retirement in 2005. Serving 32 years in the United States Army, Walker is a respected colonel, a former marathon runner and a beloved community volunteer. Walker fell in love with the Mandarin area after a co-worker took him for a drive down Mandarin Road all those years ago.

Get to Know … Laura Lasko

Surrounded by corn fields and small towns, Laura Lasko was an athlete and star student growing up in rural Ohio. The Bowling Green State University graduate started her career as a child life specialist. After working in special needs camps and serving cancer patients, Lasko joined Girls Inc. in Augusta, Ga. In 2009, Lasko brought her career to Jacksonville when she became the executive director of Girls on the Run, an organization that inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running.

Get to Know … Camryn Hulsey

Equestrian standout Camryn Hulsey is a senior at Bartram Trail High School and a recent Texas A&M University scholarship recipient. At age six, Hulsey discovered her love for riding horses while spending time watching and learning from her mom, who has also enjoyed equestrian sports. Hulsey is very excited to join the Texas A&M equestrian team and will begin her collegiate career in Fall 2017. She plans to major in interior design and minor in business.
