The City of Tallahassee recognized residents and neighborhood associations for their efforts to strengthen and improve their communities during the 2025 Neighborhood Awards, held Oct. 6 at The Parkview at Cascades.
For more than 40 years, the city’s Neighborhood Awards program has highlighted the contributions of residents and neighborhood leaders who work to enhance the quality of life in their communities. This year’s event drew residents from across Tallahassee’s nearly 300 neighborhoods to celebrate collaboration, engagement, and community pride.
Awards were presented in several categories recognizing outstanding neighborhoods, individual residents, and successful neighborhood programs. Each Neighborhood of the Year recipient received $500 to support a community project.
