One of the park ferry boats will provide transportation to Rattlesnake Island, where the watchtower is located and attendees will pick up trash in areas that are not generally accessible to the public. Getting to these areas will require climbing up and down a ladder to the boat and will likely involved getting your feet wet.

To participate, email Jill_Leverett@nps.gov or call (904) 829-6506 ext. 233 no later than April 21. You must call or email ahead of time, as the boat has a maximum capacity of 35 passengers and seats on the boat will be first come, first served. Anyone signing up after maximum capacity is reached or anyone who does not feel comfortable climbing the ladder on the boat, may help clean up the beach along the Matanzas Inlet.
