On Dec. 10, Julington Creek Elementary had their holiday sign language program. Tunes and hands filled the air as popular numbers such as “Frosty the Snowman,” “Jingle Bell Rock” and even “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” were performed in American Sign Language.

Students from Susan Baker, Sue Hellmann, Amy Grimm, Jacquie Phillips and Teresa Taylor’s classes partnered with American Sign Language 4 students from Creekside High School.  The high school students have been teaching these classes since September on various themes related to American Sign Language as well as linking sign language to their mentor teacher’s curriculum.
