Julington Creek Elementary School fifth grader Sydney Studt and her family recently spearheaded a donation drive of athletic shoes to benefit Schnauzer Love Rescue. Students collected 66 pairs of shoes which will be repurposed by Angel Bins in South America and Africa. Angel Bins will pay Schnauzer Love Rescue $1.50 per pound of shoes and all money raised will be used to treat dogs in the Southeastern United States. The Studt family became involved with Schnauzer Love Rescue after adopting their dog Tucker from a foster home. The Studt family has fostered 10 dogs since July 2014.
