St. Johns County Public Libraries are joining the American Library Association in celebrating September 2016 as National Library Card Sign-Up Month to promote the educational benefits of libraries.
Throughout the month, each branch will host various events and activities, all of which are free with a library card. Residents who sign up for a library card during the month of September will also receive a free chocolate dip from the Hyppo Café, 1765 Tree Blvd. and a 20 percent discount on all Jacksonville Symphony tickets purchased online.
