As part of their ongoing study of earth science and plants, kindergarten students at Bolles Lower School Ponte Vedra Beach Campus have been busy harvesting their January gardens. In January, under the guidance of science teacher Carolyn Houston, students harvested beets, kohlrabi, turnips and heirloom carrots. FLIK dining services expects to use the root vegetables as part of their winter menu in the Ponte Vedra Hall kitchen.
