Ponte Vedra High School junior Victor Manly recently completed his Eagle Project to benefit the Exceptional Student Education classrooms at PVPV Rawlings Elementary, Landrum Middle and Ponte Vedra High School.

The Eagle Scout Service Project is conducted by a boy scout to demonstrate planning, organizing, managing and leading a project that benefits his community. The Eagle Scout project is the crowning achievement after years of being a boy scout.

Manly demonstrated leadership by working with a team of 24 Troop 288 scouts, parents and friends to build each school a set of Jenga blocks with a stand and a corn hole toss game with the school’s logo stenciled on it.

Chartered in 1989, in 27 years Troop 288 has had 103 scouts earn the rank of Eagle. Ponte Vedra United Methodist Church is home to Troop 288.
