Ponte Vedra High School junior Henry Curran recently completed his Eagle Scout service project to benefit the Sulzbacher Center for the homeless in downtown Jacksonville. His Facebook social media campaign received an overwhelming response and he collected more than the original goal of 10 broken or unwanted adult bicycles. Local bike shops Open Road and Bikes Inc. donated spare parts to help with the repairs and Curran demonstrated leadership by working with a team of Troop 288 scouts and parents to repair the bikes. Curran and his family delivered 16 bicycles and locks to the Sulzbacher Center on June 10. Visit  www.troop288PVB.org for more information about Troop 288.
