The Bartram Trail High School Theatre Department will present Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Nov. 2 – Nov. 5 at the Bartram Trail High School Auditorium, 7399 Longleaf Pine Pkwy. Showtimes are Thursday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m.; Friday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m.; and Sunday, Nov. 5 at 2 p.m.
“Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature, this iconic stage musical includes all of the beloved songs that we know so well,” said Stephen Billy, director of the production.
This is the first time BTHS has produced “Beauty and the Beast,” although the school’s theatre department has staged several Disney titles in the past.
According to Billy, there are more than 100 students in total involved in the production, including cast and crew. Rehearsals began on Sept. 5 and will take place four to five days per week until the opening.
