American Legion Mandarin Post 372 held a hot dog giveaway at Hagan Ace Hardware on Memorial Day, May 30. Post Legionnaires handed out a free hot dog, chips and a bottle of water to customers. Â
Post Commander Myra Jowers also presented store manager Mike Brown with a Certificate of Appreciation for his outstanding support of American veterans and their families.
Several area veterans signed up for new memberships at Post 372 and other members transferred their current Legion membership to the Mandarin American Legion Post. More than $400 in donations were received to support various Legion and community programs.
